Frequently asked questions
Will the IRS accept tax documents mailed through PostPal?
Yes. The IRS accepts paper documents delivered via USPS regardless of who put them in the mail. PostPal mails through USPS, so a letter mailed by us is delivered the same way as one you mailed yourself.
What address should I send to?
Use the address listed in your form's instructions for your state of residence. Different IRS forms go to different service centers — using the wrong address will delay processing.
Can I send a return with multiple schedules and 1099s?
Yes. Standard letters include up to 6 pages, and the extended-page option supports up to 100 pages with a small extra-stamp fee. Most personal returns fit comfortably.
Should I send tax documents by Certified Mail?
PostPal mails letters as standard USPS First-Class Mail. If you need Certified Mail with Return Receipt for proof of timely filing or proof of receipt, that is a different USPS product — let us know before paying and we will recommend a route.
Will my tax information stay private?
Yes. Files are reviewed only for legality, never read or stored beyond the mailing window. They are deleted from our systems after we mail your letter. Payment is handled by Stripe.
